The Void Within the Heart

We often run until we are breathless, thinking that happiness lies hidden at the finish line of achievement.

We build our towers of dreams so high, hoard wealth, and chase after power until our names are glorified by the roaring praises of others.

Yet, have you ever, on a quiet night when all the spotlights have dimmed, stared at your bedroom ceiling and found an unexplainable emptiness?

At the pinnacle of everything you thought would make you whole, strangely enough, you instead feel a piercing echo of emptiness.

Know this: there is an empty space in the deepest recesses of the human heart.

A secret space far too sacred to be filled with fleeting things.

The cup will never be full, even if you were to pour all the gold on earth into it. It will never feel warm, even if you drape it in millions of titles and rounds of applause.

Because that empty space is shaped by a longing for the Owner of the Soul.

It was intentionally left hollow by its Creator, so that we would never truly feel at home in this world.

It is a silent alarm that ticks with every breath; a reminder that no matter how hard we seek fulfillment from creations, the shape of that space perfectly fits only His presence.

Wealth may afford luxury, but it is too impoverished to buy peace of mind.

Power might be able to subdue thousands of bodies, yet it is powerless to conquer a restless soul.If today your exhaustion feels endless, and that emptiness becomes ever more agonizing, pause for a moment.

Stop forcing the world to fill a space it was never meant to fill.

Perhaps, that feeling of emptiness and void is not a curse, but rather His most romantic way of calling you home.

Bring that weary soul down in humility upon your prayer mat.

Let your prostration dissolve all the worldly ambitions that chain your back. For only in His embrace and in the remembrance of Him... does that empty space finally find its meaning, and the fragmented pieces of yourself become whole once again.
